What Glotravo does

Most flight search asks you for exact dates and gives you one answer. But the same trip often costs far less a few days either side — on one route we tested, the spread across a two-week window was 58%.

Glotravo prices every departure date in your window against a range of stay lengths, and shows the whole price surface at once. You can see which day is cheap instead of guessing.

There's also an exact-dates mode if you already know when you're flying, which lists the available flights with carriers, times and layovers.

Privacy

What we collect

When you run a search, we record:

• The route (origin and destination airports)
• The departure month — not the exact date
• Cabin class, number of travellers, and how flexible your dates were
• Whether you used flexible or exact mode
• Which airline links you click
• Your country and browser language, so we can tell whether the site should be offered in more than English

If you set up a fare alert

This is the one place we store something that identifies you. To email you, we have to keep your email address — it can't be anonymised. We also store the route, dates and target price you asked us to watch.

• Nothing happens until you click the confirmation link we send. If you never confirm, we delete the request within a few days.
• Every alert has a one-click unsubscribe link. No login, no questions.
• You can cancel every alert at once, or delete your address entirely, from the link at the bottom of any alert.
• Once your travel window passes, the alert cancels itself.
• We don't send marketing. Alerts are the only email you'll get, and only when the price actually merits one.

What we don't collect

• No accounts. There's nothing to sign up for, and fare alerts don't create one.
• No names or payment details. We never ask. An email address is stored only if you set up an alert.
• No IP addresses. To count visitors without identifying them, your IP and browser are combined with a secret value and turned into a short one-way hash. The original is never written to disk and can't be recovered from the hash.
• No advertising or tracking cookies. No third-party analytics, no ad networks, no cross-site tracking.

Why we collect it

To see which routes and travel months people care about, so we know what to improve. It's aggregate product research — we're looking at patterns across everyone, not at what any one person searched.

What stays on your device

Your last searched route is saved in your browser's local storage so the form is prefilled next time. That never leaves your device. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Who we share it with

Nobody. We don't sell, rent or share search data. Three third parties are involved in running the site:

• Cloudflare serves the site and tells us only your country, so we can guess a sensible departure airport.
• The fare provider we query for prices receives the route and dates, but nothing about you.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces this site uses. Your browser requests them from Google, which means Google sees your IP address. We're working on self-hosting these to remove that dependency.

If you set up a fare alert, our email provider also processes your address in order to deliver the message.

Your rights

Under Thailand's PDPA and the GDPR you can ask what we hold, ask us to delete it, or object to our collecting it. Because the data is anonymised at the point of collection, we usually can't link records back to an individual — but tell us what you searched and roughly when, and we'll do what we can. How long we keep it

Search records are kept while they're useful for product research. Fare prices we've collected are retained to build price history, and contain nothing about who searched for them.

Using the site

Glotravo is provided as-is, with no warranty. We're not a travel agency, we're not IATA-accredited, and we don't take commission on anything you book. Any booking is between you and the airline, on their terms.

Airline and airport names are used to identify flights and belong to their respective owners.
